Join us for CUIFF’s free workshop for middle and high school students.

Monday, October 3, 2022, 3:00 - 5:30 pm, at the Champaign Public Library
Stop by any time!

All students in middle and high school are welcomed to participate in this free workshop that provides a series of hands-on activity stations on different aspects of film production. Students will have the opportunity to try out camera gear, experience the technical elements of digital filmmaking, create stop motion films, and learn about VR filmmaking.

These stations will be led by experienced filmmakers and professors from the Media & Cinema Studies department at the University of Illinois.

In addition to stations, there will be a live panel discussion with Emmy-nominated and nationally-recognized filmmakers sharing their experiences over Zoom.

CUIFF has partnered with the Don Moyer’s Boys & Girls Club, the Stephens Family YMCA, the Champaign Public Library, and the Urbana Public library for this community workshop.
